The Percy Jackson Series

So all of you know the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, right? well isn't it so annoying? I mean, the author keeps point out pollution and stuff and saying how humans have really messed up the Earth. It's so annoying! We want to read about Percy Jackson and what he's doing, not how the Hudson River is so polluted or something! Pointing out pollution is what nature channels are for, not fantasy books about sassy teenage demigods. And also, why the last name "Jackson"? I hate that last name! It's so common! Also, that's Michael Jackson's last name, and naming someone after him is somewhat disturbing...
